Zita's Sire, Casall, is currently winning internationally under his Olympic Rider, Rolf Goran Bengtsson. The pair has recently been victorious at the prestigious International Grand Prixs of Falsterbo and Rotterdam as well as Gothenburg. Casall is widely considered as the best son of the legendary Caretino and his offspring are sought after worldwide.
The mother line of Zita is one of the best in the world. Zita's mother Ligusta, is by the world famous Carthago (currently the # 2 ranked jumper sire in the world). Ligusta absolved her mare performance test with States Premium Status, 10 for jumping, 10 for rideability and finished the Mare Performance Test 4th out of 300 mares. Ligusta also appeared as the grandmother of an approved stallion at the Holsteiner Keuring in 2010 by Cayado / Narew xx / Carthago stamm 474a.
Zita's great grandmother, Ligustra, was the blue hen mare of the stamm, also States Premium and was reserve champion of the elite mare show in Elmshorn.
Zita continues to represent the great prepotency of the mothers before her. Zita also absolved her Mare Performance Test with States Premium status, 54 bonits, 9 for jumping and 9 for rideability. She makes the 4th States Premium Mare in a row from her mother line. Zita is a culmination of not only some of the best stallions in the world, but also some of the best mares in the world. Hyperion is proud to make this mare available to the US market for sport and/or breeding. She has already garnered a win and two 4th place finishes in the YJC 5 yr old division at WEF 2012.
She has had several top 5 finishes in the 5 yr olds and 1.20m this summer in California. Zita is a competitive and easy ride for any level.
