Doc is very well broke. I have used him to teach many people of all ages to learn to ride. He is extremely calm. He is very laid back and prefers to just walk, but will go fast if you ask him to. I do ride him out alone, but he does tend to test his rider when ridden alone. He has never bucked, or reared. I have also never seen him spook. He is in great health, and I have never had health issues with him. I have owned him since April of 2010. I have always kept shoes on his feet, but I don't think he needs them. He was a Roseau County Posse horse for the 2010 year, and did wonderful. He was exposed to countless noises and objects.
