Jack is not for the occasional weekend rider. Jack is built for the rider who loves to fox hunt, explore trails at a comfortable lope, jump natural obstacles or even enter the fast growing obstacle challenge events.

Jack seems to just understand that he has a purpose, and it's not to sit in someone's backyard.

Please don't call on this ad if you are looking for a child's horse or you are a new rider. Jack performs to the level of his partner. If the rider is unsure, not confident or nervous....Jack will take charge and you will be chumped. If you know what you are doing, this horse will take you to the level you desire.

If you are a rider who trailers to new adventures, rides your horse like he's the reason you exist, call me. You will fall in love with Jack's outrageous personality. He loves to play with his Jolly Ball, feed pan, lead rope....just about anything he can get in his mouth. He randomly will run through the pasture, as if looking for someone to come ride him out on the open trails.

Jack is schooled through Clinton Anderson's fundamental level of The Method. Ground work includes lunging for respect stages 1 & 2, sending exercise, circle driving, lateral flexion and leading up.

Under saddle, Jack is proficient at w/t/c on a loose rein in a herd. This is an excellent feature for fox hunters. Not rushy, yet nice and forward. Awesome back up, soft and supple laterally. Stops on a dime, side pass, yield hindquarters/forequarters and started on vertical collection.

Safe Horse Training at Allison Creek Farm - Most of us simply want our horses to be respectful and obedient. When we ask them to go, they go, when we ask them stop, they stop, no questions asked, no problems. I don’t want my horse to step on my toes, knock me over with his head or refuse to get on the trailer. I want him to stand still while I saddle him and when I mount. I simply want to enjoy my horse. I want to be able to load my horse up in the trailer and go for a nice trail ride with my friends. In my opinion a respectful, obedient horse is a safe horse.
