Horses like this just do not come along every day. Standing at an honest 16.2hh, Benjamin is truly a gentle giant and nothing but a pleasure to own. Western Pleasure, Hunter Under Saddle, Showmanship, Equitation, Horsemanship - he does them all beautifully. He has all the talent and beauty a person could ask for in a show horse and literally NO "show horse" downfalls. NO vices, NO need to longe him before you ride, NO ring sour behavior, NO hot house plant upkeep required. Benjamin is easy to own, easy to ride, easy to fall in love with. Catch him where you find him, lead him with a rope tossed over his neck, EXCELLENT with his feet, stands in the cross ties all day, sprays, clips, bathes, trailers, tacks up quietly, rides like a Cadillac. Please take the time to watch Benjamin's videos (there are 2 of them). There are truly no holes in this guy. Even at his height, Benjamin is super in the western classes and he can go s..l..o..w and low without it looking unnatural. Switch gears for huntseat and this guy will trot big and beautiful! To top it all off, this gelding is just a doll all the way around. You simply cannot help but fall for him! Benjamin came to live with us courtesy of a divorce. He also came without his APHA registration papers. The upside to that is that we are able to offer him at a very reasonable price (investigate what a comparable gelding will normally cost you!) We recommend putting Pinto Horse Association papers on this guy and cleaning house at the PtHA shows! Registration is $125 and there is a 50% discount for 4H members!
