Peanut was dumped at a horse auction and left to fend for herself. She was kept in what looks to be barbed wire, she has a few shallow scrapes on her sides, but her legs are clean and the scrapes should heal up just fine on their own. The sellers wrote a note saying she is Haflinger and Quarter Horse, but I don't know how you get this kind of color from a Quarter and a Halfie. I'm looking for a good home for her, she leads and hops in the trailer, but doesn't know much else.... (read more)
We outbid the meatmen at auctions to save horses, ponies, donkeys & mules from slaughter in Canada. After they come home, they're rehabilitated, retrained, and rehomed to families that will love and appreciate them for the rest of their lives!
