Amelia is an eleven year old mare in need of a home. She was purchased for use as a broodmare, but time constraints and other obligations have gotten in the way of breeding her.
Amelia is pasture sound only, though is broke to ride and has been ridden extensively in the past. She is best suited for a home as a broodmare or companion horse at this time. Were her future home wish to invest in further investigation to her soundness issues, it's very possible that she could become suitable as a riding horse again.
She has had at least one foal prior in her past, but was sold to me with no confirmed breeding record.
Amelia is easy to handle, good for gooming, bathing, and farrier care. She loads, ships, and unloads well, and is a low to mid level member in a herd. She has no vices and is a nice horse to have around.
