Here is our newest addition! This picture was taken right after this colt was born and he is trying to learn to stand, it doesn't do him justice, but atleast it gives you an idea of what he looks like and his beautiful color. I am going to call him arrow because he has a large white arrow on his back end right above his tail.Better Picture coming soon!
He could go in any direction and excell, he would also make a great stallion prospect because he is possibly homozygous. He has some great bloodlines. His dam (aka: Beauty) is one of my favorite mares, not a mean bone in her body. My husband calls her puppy sometimes because she acts like such a puppy. She is very easy to handle and you can do anything with her, she passes this easy going and friendly attitude on to her foals. The foals dam goes back to PEPPY SAN BADGER who won the NCHA Futurity. He followed that with a win in the NCHA Derby in 1978. In 1980, Little Peppy was also inducted into the NCHA Hall of Fame. He topped off his victories by being named the 1980 Reserve World Champion and winning the Open Division of the 1981 NCHA Finals. Besides his accomplishments in cutting competition, Little Peppy was, until recently, the all time leading sire of NCHA competition cutting horses. His offspring have won in excess of $20,000,000. Also on papers are great foundation names of Doc. Sire is known for throwing foals that are easy to work with, handle and break. They have a level head on their shoulders which means a lot! His pedigree is full of foundation and champion bloodlines. She really has some great cutting, reining, champion and foundation bloodlines. Just to name a few, his bloodlines include Dixies War Flower who is an earner of ROMS in Western Pleasure and Hunter under Saddle, earning at least 66 open and 3 youth performance points. ALso on the papers is A Summer Breeze, APHA Champion and Reserve World Champion Sire with ROMS in Trail, working hunter, western pleasure, Hunter hack, Hunter under saddle and halter. He has over 50 performance points and many awards including:California Paint Horse Association High-Point 2-Year-Old, 3-Year-Old and Aged Halter Stallion,Top 10 World Show Performance Horse, SPHC High-Point Horse of the Year, Ten High-Point Performance Awards, Six ROMs in English and Western, Nine Grands and Five Reserve Grand Championships, Sire of Top 10 Performance Horse at World Show, Sire of Halter and Performance Champions.
