New 12-27-07 video and pics.
I've been riding him on the trails a few times a week. Last month we rode with 4 mares up and down some rocky mountains.
Then he was loaded into a straightload and slantload with mares and then ridden up on Mount Charleston through head high brush, deep creekbeds, broken branches on the ground, through the rocks and with rabbits popping out of bushes. He kept up with and wanted to pass the bigger horses with us.
He is a 6 yr old Black Bay Pure Puerto Rican Paso Fino who is a complete gentleman on the ground with plenty of brio under saddle.
He is solid built and 14.2 hands. I've had him around cars, motorcycles, atvs, children and many other things.
He still needs polishing up but would no doubt make a nice addition and asset to anyone's breeding program from gaited mules to keeping the PPR's genes going strong.
He is very friendly and will beat you to the gate to go for a ride or just to snuggle up for some good old fashion scritches and loving.
We got him because we were going to breed but decided breeding is a bit too much for us and we are not set up for it. Our loss your gain.
