If you are looking for a first pony for your child, here he is. Little Black has give our daughter confidence and solid basic riding skills. He rides bareback, double, over, under and through anything. He will only go as fast as his little rider is capable/skilled enough to make him move. Want to walk? Great. Ready to trot then lope? He's there. He is doing barrels, poles, goats, and loves to chase steers. We have hauled him to local jackpots and to Wyoming and Colorado; he goes right along with our big horse and fits right in. He also ponies great, so that is an option if your little rider is not ready to ride alone. He rides in or out of the arena. Our daughter grooms him herself and is learning to saddle him herself(bonus about a pony - kids learn so much); he stand for all. He loads, clips, and is easy to trim his feet(never foundered, either). He is easy to catch and we keep him right in with our horses, no problem. We are moving up to a big horse, but we will continue to haul Little Black until he sells. It's time for him to teach a new young rider the ropes!
