Ditto is a quality gelding. He is a 13 year old, grade, stock horse that is well muscled and an easy keeper - never needs grain - stays fat on hay and grass. Ditto is a beautiful, shiney, smutty buckskin. The pictures were taken May of this year and reflect his current body condition and color. This is his golden summer color. In the winter, he turns almost black. He's got good ground manners, stands well for bridling, saddling and farrier. Lunges and loads great! . He's not at all spooky and is safe on the trail and road. He's been exclusivly a trail horse for the last 5 years. He is not for a beginnner. He has a lot of energy and he loves to run. He needs a confident rider. Ditto is getting some training to see what he really knows and is doing fantastic. Turns out he's had more training then we knew and it's coming back to him quickly. He's sidepassing, stopping great, loping circles, even turning some barrels. Some quotes from his trainer are: Bends well at the pole, good stop, quick learner, very light mouth, smooth trot and lope, very fun to ride, nice "ranchy" gelding with loads of potential! **UPDATE** Ditto went to the Atkins Rodeo Friday, July 15th. He was ridden in the grand entry and had no problems - first time he's been in an arena in at least 5 years! He is very bendy around barrels, digging in with his hind end to get around them. Trainer says he definately has talent and potential for barrels. Ditto does not crib or have any other bad habits. He's vaccinated, wormed, has nice, hard, black hooves and a clean coggins. Ditto is much loved and needs to go to a good home with a contract guaranteeing first right to purchase him back should you ever want to sell him. Make an offer!
