**** Pending Sale, If it doesn't work out she will be back in 30 day****
I have a 1Yr. old Registered Quarter horse filly Bay Roan, And she's looking for a new home.
For a first time horse owner I'm to inexperienced to own a baby, She has great potential and needs to go somewhere that she can show it. She's a big baby and wants to play.
She needs someone with years of experience and knows how to control a young horse, She works best with a experienced person or someone who is confident,
I'm asking $550 for her as I want her to go to a great home!... (read more) She's worth much more but I'm willing to sacrifice time and money I have put into her. She really is a great horse and is a true American Quarter Horse. She just doesn't know any better since she's a baby. She comes from a great line of horses, and should mature to be around 15.2H-16.1H. As of right now Candy stands at 15.0H
She would make a great Team Penning/Barrel Racing/ Roping or Dressage Prospect!. Candy knows the basics of Halter but she will only fallow through if your confident, She can be spunky at times but that is because she thinks she's the herd leader,
Candy is just starting to learn how to lunge and is doing great!, So far she can W/T, and is starting to canter a little. Candy's price will increase slowly as I am working with her daily. Candy would be best in a home that has other horses so she can be learning constantly and realize she's not a herd leader,
She Was born in Iowa and at 6 months she was brought to Maine. She came from a herd of 30-60 horses and was placed in a home of 4 until she reached the age of 1. Then I purchased her and she came all by herself and did fine.
Candy is all up to date on her shots and feet. When we have more then 3 sunny days in a row I put "Rain On" on Candy's hooves to keep moist,
I hate to sell Candy but I feel this is the only way to make her a better horse.
