Sky is a great horse. He needs someone that has more time to train him. He has been started and has had about 45 days. He has been used for sorting and done some trail riding as well as just general riding. He is very gentle, easy to handle. He rides really nice. I really like this big guy (16.1hh), he has such a willing attitude. He has no vices, he loads, clips, hauls, ties, is great with his feet. He has only been rode in a snaffle bit. Sky could go Barrels, English, or Hunter. I don't have time to train him that is why he is for sale. Some facts you should know about him: He does not like men very well. He LOVES women, and will do almost anything for a woman. But if a man comes into his pen he walks away and trys to avoid him. But when a woman goes in he comes right up and wants to be loved on. He will ride for a man but he gets stiff and somewhat nervous. Also he does not need a firm hand. He is very sensative and responds very well to just to light correction. I have rode him bare back and he is great, has no problems with anything. The first time I took him out, a man on a bicycle went by really fast, scared me, but Sky just kept going, just watched it as it went by. He is very fast! My husband did ride him the other day and they where flying. He will move if you ask him to. I have more pictures just email for them. He has a great pedigree. He is a grandson of Special Effort, and Mr Smooth Pac who had an SI of 103, he has Streakin Six, Pacific Baily, Raise Your Glass, Humbolt all on his papers. Just off is Dash For Cash, Easy Six, Jet smooth. the next line is Native Dancer, Easy Jet, Three Bars, Jet Deck and several others. He is bred to run that is for sure. My only condition on whoever buys him, is that it be a good home, and must keep in touch with me, as I really want to keep track of Sky and his progress. I know he will be a great horse with the right person.
