Elazarr is by Platinum vom Rappenhof *Pb* (who has won 8 different Hunter Horse of the Year awards) and out of an imported German Trakehner mare by Polarpunkt. He has excellent movement; he has a great extended trot, and his canter is uphill and very smooth and comfortable to ride. He is doing well under saddle and learns quickly. Elazarr is bold and calm - he does great on the trails, even when alone. He has been ridden around hay bales & haying equipment, through tall grass and in with cattle. Elazarr has been lunged over fences and is a willing jumper with neat knees.

He is a very flashy horse with great conformation - sure to stand out in the show ring. As a two year old he was shown in hand at the 2009 American Trakehner Convention and was first in his class (colts/geldings of 2007) with a score of 73, and Reserve Champion colt/gelding overall. The judge, Lars Gehrmann (Breed Director of the Trakehner Verband in Germany) said that Elazarr has a lot of uplift to his movements and shows great promise as a riding horse.

Elazarr is a very playful horse who loves people and attention - he will follow anyone around his pasture begging to be petted. He is a sensitive horse who wants to please his rider/handler. He is a very laid back, calm horse who doesn't spook easily, but he is also fun loving and loves to play with water, hoses, buckets, hats, etc.
