LAST PRICE REDUCTION. At stud until sold to a show or trail home.
Jay is a perfect gentleman, loves people and he acts like a gelding with parts. Health forces downsizing of our breeding operation so Jay is for sale to a Morgan breeding home with broodmares so he can stay a stallion. This is Jay pictured in the head shot left with four of his foals on the right. He is trained to ride. He also does AI or live cover when breeding if you want to breed more mares long distance. He has mostly foundation lines out of Canada and wonderful papers. Jay is a very mellow stallion who is easy to be around, handle, breed or train. He greets everyone who comes to visit here. This horse loads and hauls, trims, stalls fine or can be in a paddock or pasture too, stands quietly at hitching post, touch anywhere, etc. All of Jay's foals have that same mellow temperament as their sire as well as lovely conformation and great brains that are very easy to train. If he is not sold to a breeding home then Jay will remain here as my riding horse and gelded, but that would be quite a shame to geld this stallion because he has such lovely babies. Let me know if you want a wonderful breeding horse at your farm. The last shot is of his breeding riding him as a youngster. Videos available upon request. We also have a two year old palomino filly by Jay for sale as well, Brie, that should mature 15.2H if not larger and others for sale as well. Dragoon Morgans, Spokane, Wash.
Company / Facility:
Dragoon Morgans - Black and Buckskin at Stud -
In Morgans since 1964, we are standing a black and buckskin Morgan stallions at stud to all breeds and gorgeous Morgan foals for sale now and then. We only have a few foals and they are well handled, trained and shown before sold so they are very mellow and kind, load, stand tied, etc. We continue their training until sold then breed a foal or two. We are not large breeders but the ones we sell are trained a lot before leaving.
Sorry we do not work outside horses or board them but we can refer you to people who do that. We only have enough time to train and sell our own horses.
We do volunteer with Rough Start Horse Rescue to work and market some of their homeless horses since 2010.
