Batman is a 9 year old branded mustang gelding (I believe he was part of the domestic breeding program, I've worked with wild-caught BLM horses before and he's NOTHING like them), 14 hands tall, and has been used on the trail string as a line horse at Pontiac Lake Riding Stable, but has recently decided he doesnt want to leave the barn. Once he's ponied out of the staging area, he's good as gold and BOMBPROOF & beginner safe on the trails, but the barn needs horses without strings, so its time for Batman to find a new home. No vices, hops right in the trailer and will stand tied for saddling, etc. Good for farrier and vet, just needs his own owner to spend time with him and love on him, he just doesnt want to be a joe-schmoe trail string horse anymore, but he still loves riding to new places and exploring. We put 30 days of training on Batman last November for the riding stable and we were riding him by himself to the gas station for donuts and coffee in the mornings, so I think he's developed a habit of being ponied and needs someone smart enough to out-think him. He doesn't rear or buck, he just knows that he can get out of work if someone's not going to tell him NO. He does NOT have the spit-polish of a show horse, and he barely backs, but that can be seen in the video. He's NOT cinchy, lunges, loads in the trailer, and will stand tied for hours, but he CAN be a little pushy on the ground (from not having to mind his manners at the riding stable). He's a very easy keeper, typical of mustangs, UTD on shots and deworming, due for a farrier visit. Serious phone calls only please, price is firm, and emails will NOT be answered.
