Paris is that dream pony that everyone wants. She will do anything for her owner and is a very quick learner.
On the ground she is like a big puppy. She will follow you around anywhere and is easy to teach tricks to and is a dream to groom or lunge. In cross ties she is a complete angel and will just stand there for hours or you can ground tie her with no problems and no worries that she will run off. As soon as you reach for her foot with a hoof pick she lifts up her foot and as soon as you let down that foot the next one is already up. She doesn't fuss at all well you tack her up either. She will stand there even if you are constantly throwing things on and off her because you can't decide what to ride that day. As well as being great inside the barn she is also a saint when it comes to lunging. As soon as you have her on a line it does not take very long at all to send her out and she knows he voice commands so you simply have to say 'trot' and she will do it and then she will jump anything you send her over with correct striding and no hesitation and be ready whenever you are to change directions.
You never have to lunge her before a ride either, in less you want to, and she will still be an angel to whatever you ask. The only flaw that I have noticed in her is that she likes to throw up her head a bit during trot but she is getting much better and does still work in frame. She just glides over poles and any obstacle courses you might set up and when she is cantering she knows her leads well and easily changes if she is not on the right one.
This pony loves to jump and will jump anything. I have only lunged her over 3ft and jumped her around 2ft but she takes both with plenty of room to spare and tons of potential to go higher. I originally bought her with hopes to show her in eventing and she would be great for that. With the bonus that she was already professionally trained in that discipline. She can do just about any discipline you would like her to, including Western, as long as you take the time to train her and she should pick it up quickly.
We have taken her off property many times as well so she is used to cars speeding past her, dogs chasing after her feet (in the pasture they are usually barked at so she is used to dogs), and she is great through water. With this she has also had fireworks go off right beside their pastures with no probably, chainsaws randomly going on beside her well being ridden, and big buses/tractors going passed her pasture without a flinch.
Sadly I am tall and still growing so I have decided to look for a taller mount even though she would be perfect for me.
I don't believe she has ever been showed before but without a doubt she would be a saint and would get you noticed.
She is also available for free lease to someone who will give her attention and get her showing.
