This triple registered gorgeous homozygous black mare is a full sister to one of the breed's top stallions- Fairwinds Storm Warning. Sister is a great riding horse and very smooth on the trail. A moderate 15hh she is stoutly built and very athletic. She has nearly perfect conformation and could burn up the show ring in halter. She has been shown succesfully under saddle and has made the transition to trails very well. Has also been ridden in traffic and through the streets of our local town. Her temperment is easy going though she is a higher more ranked horse in the herd. This mare is a very easy keeper has good feet and is easy to handle for farrier work, vet etc. She does not need shoes and goes well barefoot. Not for a beginner but a confident intermediate rider would really enjoy her. Has had several well bred offspring and is an easy foaler and wonderful mother. Due to foal in June and can be purchased with or without her foal which will be eligible for KMSHA papers and is guaranteed black. For anyone looking for a quality Rocky Mountain gaited horse in the North East- this mare is a STEAL! Email for more photos.
