Here is some info on the Sire:

Texas-based sire Sand Ridge

Freshman sire Sand Ridge was euthanized after fracturing a cannon bone while being led to his stall at Key Ranch in Salado, Texas.

"It was one of those freak accidents,"Â said Joe Kerby of Key Ranch. "Sand Ridge has a habit of taking a couple of quick steps when being brought in. He just planted his hoof wrong. For a horse who was so sound on the racetrack, it is really hard to believe this could happen."Â

Sand Ridge entered stud in 2005 and stood each of his four seasons at Key Ranch. By Known Fact out of stakes-placed winner Skybox, by Spend a Buck, Sand Ridge is the sire of 19 reported foals in his first two crops, including nine two-year-olds.

Multiple Grade 3-placed stakes winner Sand Ridge concluded his racing career in 2004 with $708,149 in purse earnings and 17 wins in 59. The horse earned five of his wins in stakes races.

Sand Ridge was euthanized in October after a playful missed step caused a cannon bone to shatter. On the track, he ran with blistering speed and great heart, recording a dozen triple-digit Beyer's, and retired completely sound with 17 wins and 24 placings from 59 starts. A multiple Stakes Winner of $708,149, Sand Ridge was twice Graded Stakes-placed at 6 furlongs and 1 1/16 miles. To achieve such success on the track without a single injury is extraordinary. It is heartbreaking to lose this very special and promising young stallion to such a wry twist of fate

The Dam has also been Euthanised. This is her last baby. She ran out about $20,000 in the late 80's. She produced money earners as well to include Red Hot Toole.

This is a super nice filly who is ready to go any direction you want to take her. Take her to the track or make her a performance horse.

Coggins Test result will be obtained after receiving a commitment to buy.
