Josie is great on trails, crosses streams, is not afraid of cattle or traffic while riding, and would make a fabulous addition for someone wanting a QUIET trail horse.
She spent all day today giving novice riders, and children (including my autistic nephew and grand children) rides. (She is probably a good candidate for a "SPURS" program, squealing or wiggling or even unbalanced riders dont upset her)
She is so calm and easy to catch, current on hoof trimming, worming, etc. & not afraid of dogs.
She is an easy keeper and has great ground manners.
She is a registered Paint, APHA registered name HILLARY SMART DOLL (look up her bloodlines on allbreedpedigree dot com) She is double SMART LITTLE LENA bred.
She is 5 years old, and has done everything we have asked of her, not much worries her.
We recently took her on a 15 MILE trail ride, and she finished as perky as she was when we started and doesnt mind horses ahead of, or behind her.
If you have a child or adult who needs a confidence building horse, she may be perfect for you. She is just a bit too quiet for me, I would like something with a bit more fire for reining or cutting.
$1800, or possible trade for a ROAN or buckskin.
She goes Western or English with style.
