8 yr old Paint Gelding

Chester is an 8 yr old paint gelding. This pretty boy is approx 15.1hh with a very stocky build. Chester has a very friendly personality. He rides english and western. He does neck rein. He has very smooth, easy gaits to ride. His lope is very comfortable. Transitions up and down are smooth and never jolting. Will stop on a dime. Chester will ride in the arena, but really seems to prefer being out on the trail. He is very solid going out alone or with others. Will ride out front or follow. He easy going even with a timid rider on his back. Nothing seems to bother him and he will go over and through everything that we have asked him to.He is happy to bush wack or go through the sticky mud. He doesn't mind having another horse right on his tail and would be great to pony off. He tends to be more whoa than go, but out on the trail he will walk right out and keep up with the other horses. He goes into the canter easily, and will come right back down to the walk without getting too excited in a big open field. He would be a great beginner trail horse or husband horse. Chester is very quiet to work around. He stands quietly at the hitching pole. Stands for grooming, tacking, mounting, dismounting, and for the farrier and vet. He is great with other horses. Does not kick or bite when tied next to a horse he doesn't know. Chester would make someone an excellent trail horse, family horse, or husband horse. $3500
