Dun Qusrterhorse Gelding. 7 yrs old. Laid Back

Dusty is a 7 year old Quarterhorse gelding. He has beautiful dun coloring with a dorsal stripe, black leggings, and black points on the ears. It may be hard to see in the pictures, but he also has some tiger stripes on the legs that will show up more when he sheds completely out. Dusty is about 15hh with a sturdy build. He has a very laid back personality. He has a been there, done that attitude. He tends to be very content no matter what he is doing whether it be ridding or just tied to the hitching post. Dusty rides english and western. He has a nice neck rein. He can do a western jog and has a very comfortable lope. He moves very nicely off leg. Stops on a dime. Will stand for mounting and dismounting. Quiet enough to stand right up on his back or slide off his rear end. He tends to be more whoa than go but is responsive enough to move off with just a kiss or cluck. Dusty rides nicely in the arena and is even willing to try a little jumping. He is solid out on the trail. He goes out nicely alone or with others. Again he tends to be very patient and was happy to just stand and hang out while I chatted with one of the neighbors while out on him alone. He is happy to ride up in the front or ride rear. He was very content to just walk while another horse canter off ahead of him. Not spooky and went over and through all that we have asked him to. He is very quiet with other horses. He is very easy to catch. Will stand tied at the hitching pole happily. If fact the other day he stood for an hour and we didn't realize he wasn't even tied. Just a all around nice, easy going boy to work around. Would make a great family horse, trail horse, husband horse, or lesson horse. His coloring is very striking and he would certainly get some attention in the show ring as well. $3500
