Checkers is a green mare, who has been started over fences. She can jump a huge fence, having schooled as high as 5 ft with a child rider. Being a quarab, she is very flat backed and smooth over fences. She would make a terrific equitation or hunter for the local shows. Her gaits are butter smooth as well. Checkers can be a little bit playful, and occasionally bucks. Not a horse for the beginner rider, but no problem for the novice rider. Checkers is very attractive and an easy keeper. She currently has a paint filly foal at her side who is also offered for sale. Her filly, "Deal Me In" aka "Delilah" is sired by our stallion RFF Blackjack, former 2003 APHA National Champion Green Hunter, and now a showjumper. See separate ad.
