Shirley is an AQHA sorrel filly. She halters, leads, ties, picks up all four feet and is great for the farrier. Bathes and trailers easily and gets along great with other horses. Her ground training has been bending, flexing, moving from pressure, disengaging her shoulders and hips. John Marquez, her trainer, focuses on moving forward, bending at the neck and rib cage. This includes disengaging the shoulders and hips, moving off of pressure, and cues from the legs and hands. Shirley knows her gates, has a quick stop, backs, and works off her hind end like a dream. Ridden about 5 months, Shirley has a great start, works well in a bosal and would be a great asset to anyone's program.
