"Ben" is a big, leggy colt with beautiful markings and a lot of substance (bone). His sire is 16.1 and his dam is 16 hands, so he will be a big horse. Ben is extremely laid back, affectionate and outgoing, and is extremely intelligent and a quick learner. His conformation is superb; he has a laid back shoulder, a nice big hip, and correct, straight legs, not to mention a beautiful classy arched neck that his sire puts on all his foals, refined head and curvy ears. This colt is smoothly put together and a real eye-catcher.
Ben's pedigree is also phenomenal. On his sire's side he has WGC Colors in General (grandsire), WC Generators Winning Colors (grand dam; she is a full sister to Generator's Color Guard), Prides Generator, Gen.'s Major General, Paint the Town, and Paint's Rooster on his papers. From his dam, he has the influences of great horses such as Patches of Minority, Go Boy's Gold Insignia, Shadow's Spotted Alen, Pride's Ultra Threat and, further back, Ebony's Senator, GLL's Carbon Copy, and Mack K's Handshaker. Additionally, his dam is a RWC performance mare and a WC/RWC producer in SSHBEA Sport Horse. Both of this colt's 1/2 brothers were sold as stallion prospects at just a few months of age. With bloodlines this good, conformation, size, and flashy markings, you can't go wrong with this colt. He has been tested and IS homozygous for tobiano, and he will be registered with SSHBEA and NSSHA.
Ben has been handled extensively, and is easy to approach in the pasture. He leads, ties, clips, parks out, and has started obstacle training. He has a wonderful natural gait in the field.
