This guy was raised out on a ranch in the Chilcotin, he grew up out on the range and sure knows how to look after his feet! He comes from a long line of VERY good ranch/all around horses, with GREAT minds.
ANDY has been used on mountain hunting and pack trips for three years, so he has lots and lots of miles and is quite experienced in all kinds of terrain. He can climb mountains and is used to lots of rocks and mud, a great trail horse. Besides being packed he is used to leading pack horses, he is fine riding in the back and in the lead as well as on the trail by himself.
He is used to being hobbled, part of being on the trail for 1 to 2 weeks at a time.
ANDY has also been used for cowboying around the ranch and is great at working cows.
He loads into the trailer without asking questions and is excellent with the ferrier.
He has got a very gentle, sweet personality and has never tried to buck, bolt or anything.
He is great with traffic, a super reliable horse.
ANDY is about 16 hands tall.
Four Miles Jack Pine (ANDY) is registered with the American Quarter Horse Association.
