This Percheron (12 y/o, 19hh) comes from wonderful bloodlines know to many. Breeder/Owner was George Clifford Shipley~Sire is Twin Lakes Little Pegasus~Dam is Rolling Hills Rosemary. He was foaled March 23, 1999 and I have the Certificate of Pedigree to show 3 generations back. While he has all the makings of a registered horse, his paperwork was not sent in. He was gelded when he was 2. He was broke to drive (single and double) before he turned 2. I personally have been riding him for 9 years and my daughter who is 12 and has been riding for 7 year (since we owned him). My daughter uses him in 4H, Gymkana, English, Western, Trial, and she has been taking Dressage lessons on him for 3 years. He is extremely kid safe, even my 3 year old rides him. I can not say enough about his personality...He is amazing! He is show quality and attends clinics annually, 4-H riding meetings, Gymkhana horse shows. He also trail rides well alone or with a group. He knows to lower his head when loading, etc., but does require at least a 7 foot tall trailer. He loads, bathes, stands well with for ferrier, and for a the vet. He is current on immunizations, trims, and worming. He is barefooted and has never been lame a day in his life. He stalls with verbal commands, and is use to a lean-to situation as well. He is very intelligent and willing. He is easy to catch and comes when he is called. Ice enjoys attention and looks forward to being used.
