15.1H registered breeding stock paint mare. 19 yrs old but looks 10 years younger. "Trudy" has been owned by one family since she was a baby and she was the all-around 4-H/trail horse for them. About 6 years ago, Trudy was ridden very consistently, trail-ridden at state parks, and was shown in pleasure and game classes in 4-H. Trudy is a big-boned, strong mare. Don't think of her as an older horse; she is healthy, sound, and has excellent conformation for staying that way for another 10 years. Trudy is currently getting a tune-up after a few years of being a pasture potato. There's no buck or rear in this girl, but she does have some sass. With a couple weeks of riding, she could be ready for a 4-Her if they have some experience. I would suggest Trudy for an intermediate rider. She's not a beginner-type horse as she does have some spunk, but she's controllable and knows her cues. Trudy is a fantastic trail horse with a forward attitude. She loads, ties, picks up feet well. Up to date on vaccinations, deworming, and trimming. $800 obo.
