Stunning red color gelding with everything you could want in a trail horse. Maverick is gorgeous to look at from any angle with a very rare red chocolate color. He has excellent confirmation, a beautiful head and a long flowing flaxen mane and tail. When you see him you just can't help but say, "wow, he is beautiful!". Not only he is beautiful on the outside, he is a calm and gentle beautiful horse on the inside. Maverick loves to be around people and is very quiet. He is patient, super easy to handle and very smooth to ride. He is a mature minded horse that has been trained very well and knows how to behave himself around people and when being ridden. He is easy to catch, halter, lead, groom, tack up, bathe, clip, shoe and trailer. You couldn't ask for a nicer horse to be around. Maverick stands to mount, walks on a loose rein, he gaits on a loose rein, canters, stops on a dime and truly tries to please his rider. Maverick gaits are super smooth to ride. He has a head shaking flat walk, silky gaits that he can do at various speeds. On the trail he is fantastic. Watch his videos as we go by skate boards, bikes and busy traffic.. He is awesome! Maverick is not spooky acting at all. Even in windy weather with debris flying around he is a rock. Maverick is extremely level headed. He will lead, follow, stay in the middle of the group any where you want to be in the group he doesn't mind. Maverick is simply stated as an extremely pleasant horse to handle, ride and be around. His disposition is wonderful and truly has it all. Maverick has been exposed to country life like deer, turkeys, farm equipment, crossing streams, climbing hills... He also excels with city distractions like plastic bags, high winds, flags, dogs, bikes, traffic, strollers, ATV's... He is steady, easy going and reliable. Maverick is a horse for beginner riders on up to enjoy. You can ride him bareback or with a saddle, alone or with a group, in a show or on the trail.
