She is out of the Opening Verse mare Samati who traces back to Northern Dancer. Scrimshaw is a Louisiana sire. He finished 3rd in the Preakness and had earnings over $450k. He defeated Ghostzapper at even weights He is by Sire Of Sires Gulch and out of the Sham mare Rogue Girl. He is the 2nd leading 3rd crop sire in Louisiana and has has over 73% winners from starters.
