Here is a really well put together 2 year old gelding. We were going to keep him for our cattle ranch, but decided we needed to wait another year before saving another colt since we both are riding 4 year olds this summer. He is going to be a worker and tough as nails. He has great feet, big bone, and will be very shapey. I think he would make a great heel horse too. This gelding has the pedigree to do whatever you would want. He is by our heading stallion who is foundation bred plus has Te N Te and Azure Te on his pedigree. His mother is very well put together and bred. Her sire is Smokin Peppy Chex and she also goes back to MR Gun Smoke who is known for being very tough and not a quitter. Don't pass up this super gelding.

Elkhorn Quarter Horses - We stand our blue roan heading stallion. Although color is a bonus, we are breeding for the talent and athletisism of all around horses with big bone, good feet, trainablility, and mellow dispositions. We are located in the beautiful Broadwater County valley in Montana. Our 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son are now beginning to ride and help on the cattle ranch too. It's so great to see the kids out moving the cows and doing what we love to do.
