Here is a fancy filly that would be a perfect reining or working cow mare. She has a natural low headset just like her dam plus that flowing lope to her. I love the foals we get from this mare for those reasons. She is halter broke and ready to go start learning. I didn't know what color this filly was and I put down chestnut because she doesn't have the black legs like that of a bay, but with the black mane and tail APHA called her a bay. She is fancy and a very neat color. Her sire is our blue roan heading stallion; Te N Te, Azure Te breeding plus many of the great foundation sires. Her dam is Chex Smokin Peppy going back to Mr Gun Smoke and Smokin Peppy Chex is her sire. You don't want to miss out on this filly. She is going to be a good one!

Elkhorn Quarter Horses - We stand our blue roan heading stallion. Although color is a bonus, we are breeding for the talent and athletisism of all around horses with big bone, good feet, trainablility, and mellow dispositions. We are located in the beautiful Broadwater County valley in Montana. Our 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son are now beginning to ride and help on the cattle ranch too. It's so great to see the kids out moving the cows and doing what we love to do.
