Leave Me Suddenly (barn name Leroy) is a Registered Appaloosa Gelding. He is just coming 9 yrs old and is approx 14.3hh. Leroy has a very pretty roan coloring and nice, solid build. Leroy was originally owned by us in the summer of 2008. He was used in our trail riding and lesson program. He was sold to a teenage girl who rode him in gymkhanas and did jumping with him. She has now gone off to college so we now have him back for sale. Leroy is a favorite around the farm because he offers such a versatile, fun ride whether your in the ring or the trail. Leroy is very responsive to your leg, seat, hands. He enjoys a quiet rider, but is tolerant of a rider who is not. He rides english or western and does neck rein. His speed is very controllable. He can do a tiny little jog or move out into a great extended trot. He knows his leads and is very consistent. Leroy is not lazy and likes to go. He has great endurance and would be fun for cross country or jumping. He wants to round and come on to the bit with just a little more work. He had from Sept and until end of Feb off from doing anything. First ride back on him after all that time he rode like a champ. Very quiet walk, trot, canter. Leroy is really fun out on the trail. He is not spooky all and very confident out on his own. He will head away from the barn without looking back. He can canter out on the trail and will come back down to a walk without getting overly excited or hot. Goes out quietly with other horses as well. Likes to be right out in front, but will ride middle or rear. As I mentioned before in 2008 he was used in our hack string with complete beginners riding him. He is an easy keeper. He is in a mixed herd of mares and geldings and gets along well. He is great for grooming, tacking, and trailering.
