2nd year of hauling on barrels. Running 3D & 4D times & has won money in both divisions. Started on poles, heeling, breakaway roping & all other timed events. She has been on live cattle & a Buford, but has never been behind a barrier. Not a finished horse in my opinion. She's not far enough along for a beginner rider, but is easy to ride and very willing. You can pony another horse on her if the other horse isn't real spooky or jumpy.
On the top side she is Jetalong, Sonny Dee Bar, Sir Quincy Dan, Gay Bar King & King Ranch breeding. On the bottom she is Otoe, Skipper W, Sonny Dee Bar & King Ranch Paints. She's had one colt that I know of & he's built just like she is.
I've had this mare for a little over 2 years. She was barely green broke when I got her. I will continue to run her on barrels until she is sold.
At the moment she is being competed on in Baton Rouge Barrel Racing Assoc. in the $100 novice class, currently sitting 9th. Also competing in NBHA District LA-04. Has points in the 3D this year, 4D last year. Also competing in open shows. She is enrolled in the PAC program with APHA & as of 3/3/2011 she has 3 barrel racing points.
She is improving constantly. I have not been competing on poles on her because of health reasons. She was running low 24's when I stopped. She is on an ulcer preventative & UTD on all shots & Coggins.
Serious inquiries only please. Price is negotiable.
