"Willow" has exceptional bloodlines top and bottom, being out of PARK A JET by HOTRODDERS JET SET, out of a ZIPPO PAT BARS mare. She also has excellent conformation and extensive training. She is a truly LOVELY mare in all ways. Willow was shown throughout California in some of the toughest competition in the Nation for several years before her current owner bought her five years ago. She is only being offered to a knowledgeable, loving home due to her owner retiring now from riding and showing. When Willow was purchased in 2006 she had a thorough pre-purchase exam including ex-rays (which are still available on CD) and she passed with flying colors. She has always been well-cared for and hasn't had any wrecks, accidents nor hard work in her current home, so her owner is confident Willow is still sound in all ways. Willow is very ladylike and feminine with a kind, sweet disposition; great manners both under saddle and around the barn; and gets along well with other horses when turned out into a herd. She is easy to catch, bathe, clip, load and haul and needs minimal warm-up before going straight into the arena. When away from home, she settles in quietly; will stand tied to the trailer all day long without fretting; and stands still at a mounting block for a shorter rider. Willow has shown and WON in Showmanship, Walk-Trot, Western Equitation, Hunt Seat Equitation and HUS. She even won 1st place in a conformation class this past summer in a class of 16. Willow's owner says she will keep her forever if the right potential owner doesn't come along... Willow is so easy to care for and a joy to be around that she is never a problem at all; but it seems a shame to 'waste' her training and talents when a knowledgeable youngster, amateur or novice could enjoy her for many more years.
