Please email me for pics. Up for sale due to the fact we own 11 horses for only two riders, we feel the need to downsize the herd. Its a hard decision to make which horses must go, but being a trainer as i am, i feel that the ones that need the least amount of training now are the most sellable. Therefore, sundance is listed here.
He is a good looking boy that will get you noticed wherever you go with his beautiful unique dunskin color. He has the zebra markings down his legs and cobwebbing markings on his forehead with a bald face, dorsal stripe, frosted black mane and tail. He has a small white patch on the underside of his belly and all four white socks for added chrome!!
He has come to us from a ranch in wyoming therefore he has been ranch branded on his big round muscular hip. very stocky and muscular horse, ready to take u up the trail or start him on cows. we have trained him from the start and he is what i would consider an excellent trail horse for anyone who wants a calm and easy walk down the trail. Sundance will go over anything without a thought, water, logs,etc, nothing bothers him. Loads excellent into the trailer, stands for the farrier, takes a shot without batting an eye!!
We have taken him overnight camping and he did great. He is at the lower end of the pecking order in our herd, has an easygoing disposition. He is ridden in a bosal only and is very responsive to that.(i will throw in his bosal and simple headstall to the new owners)
He is out of the Painted robin bloodline but due to the fact the ranch had hundreds of horses papers were not filed. He has excellent confirmation and he has great ground manners to use for halter class if you wanted to show him off. i have hauled him around extensively, to shows and trails, and he is ready and waiting for someone to pay attention to him. he is the type of horse that can sit in the pasture for a year and you can just saddle him up and go, no problem. Doesn't get all fresh and snappy just sitting around.
