Additional Comments:
KEEN LASSIE is the latest addition our broodmare band, having been retired at the end of the 2010 racing season. A winner of four races, including an allowance victory at Saratoga, and nearly $120,000 in earnings, KEEN LASSIE brings to the table a solid and stout European pedigree.
KEEN LASSIE is in foal to PURIM, who is a son of the influential sire, Dynaformer, whose progeny include 16 millionaires and 20 grade 1 stakes winners, including Kentucky Derby winner Barbaro. As a racehorse, PURIM was victorious in the grade 1 Shadwell Turf Mile stakes over the grass as well as grade 3 Razorback Breeders' Cup over the dirt and the grade 3 Arlington Classic Stakes over the turf. He won nine races in all, six being stakes, out of twenty three starts and earned $928,000. Purim's first foals, who have shown to have the sensibility and charisma of their sire, will race this year.
While KEEN LASSIE excelled on the grass, her full sister, Keen Spirit, was an allowance winner on both the dirt and turf. Her pedigree is strong, as you can see by evidence of her dam, Roscommon Lassie, who produced nine horses to race, seven of which went on to win.
We have been able to secure a season to PURIM at a substantial savings to his advertised fee and we feel that he is an excellent physical match for KEEN LASSIE. We are offering KEEN LASSIE as a breed to race partnership.

Prime Equine Thoroughbred Management Services - Racing and breeding partnerships offer the fun and excitement of the thoroughbred industry at a fraction of the cost. We do not mark up expenses nor do we charge a managerial fee. If the horse doesn't make money, then Prime Equine doesn't make money - it's that simple. A large majority of the horses that we offer thru partnerships are homebreds. However, we will also form specific partnerships for the sole purpose of purchasing a horse privately or at auction. Either way, Prime Equine will guarantee your investment.
