Sonnys Paint Slick AKA "Sadie Belle"Â. 13 year-old registered APHA overo mare, 15.1 hands. Sonny Dee Bar granddaughter.

Bathes, ties, clips, loads (straight or slant-load), easy to worm and give shots, great for the farrier, easy keeper.

"Sadie"Â is sweet as they come, has speed, and is easy for anyone to handle. On the ground, this would be a great horse for a beginner to learn the basics. She is respectful, enjoys playing in the round pen. Not dangerous in any way and enjoys being groomed and beautified. She would put herself in danger before hurting her human.

In the saddle, she is awesome. Smooth gaits, feels like you are floating. She will work almost completely off leg and weight cues. Can direct- and neck-rein. Wonderful stop and quick back with minimal cues. She can get up and move and then bring it back down and not have any problems. She can do a nice two track both directions. She has been taken through both barrel and pole courses, and she is sure learning fast! She may be a good candidate for bridleless riding since she responds so well to leg and weight. She is an upright mare with nice rolling gaits would also be suited for Western Pleasure or English Equitation. Sadie can turn on a dime (can unseat a beginner like me) so she needs someone with balance.

Sadie is only been used for trail riding the last 5 years (and needs someone with good balance to put more miles on her), so she is not arena sour and just wants to please her rider in any way!! Would make a wonderful ladies riding horse with her sweet temperament and smooth all day gaits. She would make a great family horse, gentle enough for the kids, but willing to pick it up for the more advanced rider. Kids will love her easy manner, non Alpha, so she does not try to test you all the time. Since she has only been ridden a few times in the last five years, she would need about two weeks in the arena to get a good refresher. It is all there, just hasn't been used. Experienced Beginners to Advanced Riders will enjoy her!

We adore this mare, so she must go to a good home. We aren't in a huge hurry to sell her as she is just so darn easy to have around. May trade for horse of same value, size, age that has a GRANNY GEAR and trail miles.

$3200. Or best REASONABLE offer.
