All the good things: He's very good on the ground and follows you around wherever you go and loves to cuddle and be loved on. Under saddle he's a bit slow, due to him being a bit over weight. The boy gains weight on air, so he's a very, very easy keeper. My kids have ridden him and he's been used as a lesson horse for kids. He's not spooky, and has no trouble loading, unloading or getting into tight spaces. He stands great for the farrier for trimming and shoes.... (read more) He loves the trails as long as there isn't a ton of mud. He really doesn't like mud. But he can definitely navigate a trail like a pro. I like to go go go on the trails and he's made me nervous a time or two the way he can just zip through rocky areas and take turns pretty sharp. He'd make a great competitive trail or endurance horse with some conditioning. He stands tied very well. He doesn't kick or bite when he's riding with other horses. All the bad things: I mentioned he's a little slow, but that may be a good thing for someone who wants to go slow. He hates the mud, so to get him to go through a muddy place takes some convincing. He's the herd leader. He can be a bit bossy and isn't afraid to throw his weight around. He's got a round barrel so sometimes saddle fit is a problem. I've been using a treeless saddle or just ride him bareback and he does fine. I planned to use him as a competitive trail/endurance horse, but life got in the way. I don't have time for 3 horses anymore, so I need to move him on. Video of him can be viewed on YouTube under the name ICMoonlightMagic
