Help! I need to make room for boarders, so my "project horses" need to find new homes. Candy is a 9 year old, 15H grade mare who has been a pasture pet for several years. We started her under saddle and unfortunately, we haven't had enough time to really finish her. She's got excellent ground manners, has a smooth trot, and has had about 45 days total under saddle. She has been on the trail several times, and will cross water and handles rough terrain with ease. She is an alert mare, not overly spooky, but needs to be able to trust her rider. She will bond strongly with one person. Candy has a heavy build and is an easy-keeper. She's got great feet and has never had any health issues, except that she frostbit her ears as a newborn (not at our place). We are very negotiable to a good home for Candy and would prefer to keep in touch. This mare is really special to us. $500 obo. We have an indoor arena you can ride in to try her out.
