I've had Luna Lady Doc (aka Big mama) for 3 years now. She's never offered to spook or buck. I've never worked with a horse like her. Smart, quick and eager to go. I ride her around with just a rope around her neck. I've taken her out around the hogs, sheep, ponds, misc. oblects, tarps included, open gates from the saddle, etc...I'm working on free style with her right now. She knows all the leg ques, and pressure points and responds very well to voice commands.... (read more) We're working on her spins and slide stops still (gettin that butt up underneath her) as well as bending and giving me her head at the pole, but other than that, this girl will side pass like a charm, and turn on a dime just by laying the reins on her neck. I've run barrels on her even, just for fun in the arena and have been thoroughly impressed by her time and time again. The first time we went through the pattern we cantered, it was so easy to guide her. She's got a real easy temperament, I gave lessons on her, almost 2 months after I began training her (the girl had never been on a horse before). She's been ridden all over the country side, including right off of major hwys. She's my pride and joy and will only be going to a good home! She has thrown some beautiful foals for me. I have her stud colt that's a grandson of the famous NCHA money earning sire, Peptoboonsmal. She seems to cross very well with the peppy san line. She's UTD on all shots and coggins as of Aug 2010, my friend has been riding her in the college's Horsemanship class (the same one that we gave lessons to). She's a sollid and docile gal. Never offered to act like a total you know what when she's in season. I usually walk out in the pasture, pat her on the neck and she'll follow me where I want her to go without any ropes or anything. Her registery is in the allbreedpedigree. I'll be happy to email pictures and videos! I've got pictures all over fb of everyone on her, standing, riding, running, working, the whole nine yards. The videos on youtube are when I was first training her. I'd be glad to send some recent videos. Just call, text, or email me at 918-577-7705, or firstname.lastname@example.org for more info on this girl and negotiate price. Will be willing to work out a deal with any future foals from her. The only reason I'm selling is due to college expenses. I'll be taking English riding lessons on her in January if she's still not sold by then and her price will go up.
Moon Spot it, Doc Bar, Boon Bar, Colonel Popcorn...those are a few names on the papers.
