Additional Comments:
"Pebbles" is nicely bred with bloodlines rich with many well known working and cutting horses. She has excellent conformation - very muscular and well balanced with a nice head, clean neck, a good sloping shoulder, nice wither, strong back, super-nice HIP and well-boned straight legs with short cannon bones and proper angles. Pebbles is a nice mare but she is not for a novice or timid rider - she needs a confident, knowledgeable person. She has lots of speed, stamina, brains, is quiet around cattle - she just needs a steady job. She is NOT a backyard mosey-along horse nor a 'western pleasure' type of horse. She has a lot to offer the right person who LIKES a 'lot of horse'. She is great on the trails which she follows well without meandering, and travels along on a loose rein with a fast and smooth walk. Pebbles really watches where she places her feet in steep country, picks her way wisely through rocks and wasn't at all nervous or spooky when she jumped a couple of deer unexpectedly. Pebbles does NOT like arena riding. She gets uptight and nervous and very 'on-the-muscle' so we do NOT want to sell her as a gaming or barrel horse. She is mannerly on the ground, enjoys being groomed and is good about her feet. She trailers well with a quiet, firm, confident handler. Her owner is open to offers - Pebbles is not a 'throw-away' horse but she needs a knowledgeable, confident, quiet horseman to win her respect and they should get one WHALE of a good mare. Pebbles is sound; healthy; current on her shots and worming lives in Bend, Oregon.
