Tardys Melba Star- a beautiful black two and a half year old mare with a long gorgeous mane! She is well broken and has been in training since March. Good on walk trot and canter. Picks up correct leads and has amazing lead change. Will step shoulder and hip over well; does pretty good with neck reining. She is quiet and very willing to learn, yet she does have some get up and go to her. A six year old girl rides her without a problem. She does not spook easily and is awesome on trails. I think she would make a good barrel or reining horse. Or about any field you wanted to take her in. She gets along well with other horses and has good manners. She stands well for saddling and is very responsive to working her on the ground. She would make a great family horse or a good show prospect! She is young and has a lot of good years before her, and yet she is calm enough that children can ride her!! Loads, bathes, and stands well for ferrier.
