Additional Comments:
Pete is a 5 year old gelded john mule. He has had 45 days in March/April 2010. He has been ridden around 75 miles a month (conservative figure) since mid-April. While I wouldn't call him gaited, he is a pretty smooth ride. He has two speeds of walks, and his trot is fairly smooth, but his canter is VERY smooth. He has been ridden extensively at Prague lake and Sportsmans Lake in Seminole, Ok. The trails at Prague are fairly easy, while the trails at Seminole are very rugged, steep, and technical. He is very athletic and has handled all of these trails with the greatest of ease. He is recently home from our annual elk hunting trip in Colorado. He did excellent up there, too. We were in the mountains for 10 days. Even with all of the new sights and smells, he never boogered once. He is a gentle mule, and loves attention. He's done every thing I've asked of him. UTD on shots, worming, and coggins. Trimmed evry 8 weeks.
