4 year old TB filly for sale. Zip Drive is a natural athlete, who LOVES to jump! She was unraced as a 2 and 3 year old and only had 3 starts this year before it was determined she was far to interested in looking pretty to run fast! She is by KY Derby winner, Go For Gin, and is out of a successful jumper mare that has produced other successful jumper offspring so there is a ton of athleticism in her bloodlines. She is extremely kind and quiet with an excellent mind. She is one of those horses that once she knows what you want there is no stopping her. She stands for the farrier and for grooming, is neat and clean in the stall, will stand quietly at the mounting block, goes nicely alone or in company, she even comes to the gate with an enthusiastic whinny when you call her to bring her in! She is an all around nice horse that I can't say enough good things about. Zip's legs are clean and perfect, she never even shin bucked. Zip lunges well, goes right down the center of ground rails, and never ever hesitates at a jump, not even her first time. She is still green and working to get her form, but that will come as she gets more practice. The truly remarkable thing that should be noted about this filly is that she has been off the track for less than 2 weeks! When I am retraining I let the horse dictate what they are ready for, and I have honestly never had one move along so quickly or seamlessly and in such an unflappable fashion. She is a true gem.
