JR is a 10 yr old purebred Belgian gelding. Is very well trained in driving in a single cart or in team, and can be ridden. Has been used at county fairs being shown by kids. He is a safe, sound horse that has No bad habits. Clips, leads, loads and ties. Does NOT kick, crib or bite. Gets turned out with other horses ( JR is the one that gets bullied the most, so a herd setting/home wont work) and gets along with everyone. Is blind in one eye(was bought that way) but has had no problems adjusting to/with his handicap. NEEDS TO FIND A NEW PERMANENT HOME OR WILL BE GOING TO AUCTION. If he is sent to auction his chances being bought for slaughter are EXTREMELY GREAT, for being older and blind deminish his chances for a good home. He has untill the end of October 2010.
He is still a very usable horse that has many years left. Let it be known, that JR is NOT being sold, in any way shape or form, because of his handicap or older age.
