I broke this mare in 07 (broke out very nice) for a client who never put a saddle on her one time after she went home. Owners were new to horses and uneducated, this horse suffered a great deal of neglect as a result. She kept running away from home and coming back to my house over and over though out the years and had reverted back to being untouchable. I knew the horse well as a result of my time spent with her in 07 and knew she would come around as nice as she had before so I contacted her owner and bought the horse so she would never be "forgotten" about again. Restarted her again and "WOW" is she coming leaps and bounds!! Never a refusal, never a buck or display of temper!!! Very, very afraid of the world as a whole, I have had to introduce her to just about everything. Once this sweet mare trusts you, she will literally do anything you ask of her. That being said, she needs a lot more saddle time and is half arab, so can be quick footed. A confident rider with a lot of comfort and reassurance to give her and she will be an AMAZING horse. Would be a great contender for a barrel someday as she can be LIGHTNING FAST!! Just learning to carry a rider well at a canter she has never been asked for speed under saddle to date. Sweet, sweet, sweet girl, just a little shy. A slow hand and time to give and you'll have yourself a nice, nice little mare. Please note: I restarted her and gave her to a student of mine who has not followed through on her commitment with her and I will not let her go to waste again!!! That is the only reason she is being offered for sale. I personally have all the horses I need and if times were better I would keep her. UTD on all, stands for the shoer, bathes, takes her shots and wormer well, working on the trailer, walks right on with no hesitation but the noise from the trailer floor and her feet scares her for now.
