This is a two year old what I call a dirty black Saddlebred Friesian Cross gelding that we brought up for training last week from one of the breeding farms we broker for.
We've only committed to two weeks of ground training. We do put saddles on them, however because of their young age we do not break them to ride. We like to see them mature physically before we put miles on their back. However we have sat on Kelly's back with no problem!
Our blogspot has various videos of training on Kelly. Most are narrated as to what we're trying to accomplish.
This gelding has done everything we ask him to do. You just can't beat that. He takes his bath, he loads, ties, cross ties, picks up all his feet, and lunges at a walk, trot, and canter. He has a willing to please attitude for a horse just brought up from a herd.
Kelly has a current negative coggins.
