Price reflect the economy as well as just plain tired of advertising this mare. Trucie has been owned by my family her entire life - bred for the track (never made it) and has lived in the foothills. She was a lesson/show horse for a few years - but I haven't taught regularly for the last several so she only gets worked occasionally. I have taught quite a few people to jump on this mare - she is VERY forgiving and is a great lunge line lesson horse as well - BUT!... (read more) - her hocks 'click' and she will get sore in the R hock if worked too hard. I keep her on a flex supplement and would probably bute her on occasion if I had need to use her more often. As it is - she is mostly in pasture and moves fine - even at full gallop on hard ground. I have several short videos of her moving on youtube - type 'truce for sale' under search. She is very forward on trail and would need an experienced rider for that. When fresh - she can be a fussy TB mare - when worked - even semi regularly - she is very easy. If you have a program that keeps up on maintaining your lesson horses with steady - but not strenuous lessons as well as good joint supplements - this mare can make you money. I have no client base and live in a small community. This is a nice mare - she could use a bit more to do.

I am blessed to have them both in my life.
