I think he could be considered for reined cow horse with his particular conformation. His conformation is well above average for a working cow horse prospect.

In my opinion he is future stallion prospect quality. When bred to a purebred Arabian mare, the foal will be eligible for HAHR registration as "1A" and will carry 62.5% Arabian blood.
Expected height at maturity is 15hh and he has really good bone.

Shine is DUN (possibly DD) and he may be either AA or Aa. If he is Aa he *can* sire grulla when bred to black Arabian (or any breed of black) mares!!
