Pocos Prairie Wind is a unique Palomino Roan Color! She passes her roan color to her foals. We raised Prairie from a foal. My husband bought her mother as a 2-year-old when he was in high school. She was a great ranch and pleasure riding mare. Prairie was started and used on the ranch for a while before we started breeding her. She has been a really good producer for us! She has produced LOTS OF COLOR!!! Red Roan, Bay roan, palomino roan, Blue Roan, and Sorrel. Her colts are a lot of fun to work with. They have tons of personality and genuinely like to be around people. They are sensitive and willing to be trained. They also have a lot of natural cow sense.
